Hildewintera Hybrid 'Humkes Rubin' — Rare Cerise-Purple & Orange Blooming Cactus

'Humkes Rubin' is a jewel of a Hildewintera hybrid — a cross of Hildewintera aureispina x LH 'Rubin von Liske', hybridized by Heinrich Humke. Its 2–2.5" blooms are a striking combination: short, rounded, slightly ruffled inner petals in a vivid cerise/neon purple, surrounded by narrow purplish-pink to reddish outer petals with a bold orange midstripe that recurve gracefully past the inner petals. The purplish-pink style and cream-to-white anthers complete a bloom that's electric, layered, and utterly captivating.

This well-rooted plant is 5 inches tall with many-ribbed cylindrical dark green stems averaging 1¼"+ in diameter, adorned with copper/bronze-colored spines.
