HILDEWINTERA HYBRID TRAISENKOANIG Plant

Offer is for the well rooted RARE Hildewintera hybrid 'TRAISENKOANIG' plant shown in the last picture. Plant is 8” tall.

Hildewintera hybrid 'Traisenkönig' has a 4"+ diameter golden-yellow bloom with gold-bronze back petals. Inner petals; 3 rows of short, wide, overlapping golden-yellow petals. Outer petals; are longer, narrow with touches of bronze on petal tips. Back petals are bronze-gold and recurving. Stamen and stigma are cream to light yellow colored, throat is greenish. A cross of HWH 'Butterfly' X Helianthocereus huascha- var. (Yellow). (Hyb.# BUM 2300-1), Hybridized by Dr. Irmfried Buchmann. Growth: Stem growth averages 2-1/2" in diameter, multi-ribbed, cylindrical, long brownish spines, columnar type growth form, can be pendant if stems are very long. Notes: Also spelled as 'Traisenköenig' with a letter 'E' added in some referenced webpages. Deep bright yellow color. Strong grower.
