'Humkes Roro' is a rare Hildewintera hybrid from hybridizer Heinrich Humke, and it's one of the most visually dynamic bloomers in the collection. Its 3.5"+ semi-funnel blooms feature short pink-rose to purple-pink inner petals with a faint apricot-yellow midstripe near the throat, and long, narrow, recurving outer petals in apricot-yellow to yellow-tan. The magic happens when purple-pink streaks bleed into those outer yellow petals — a phenomenon that varies with light and fertilizer, making every bloom uniquely beautiful.

This well-rooted plant is 3 inches tall with unusually thick, dark green stems reaching 3–4"+ in diameter — more like an Echinopsis in form than a typical Hildewintera, and best grown upright in a pot rather than a hanging basket.
