'First Light' greets every blooming season with a stunning display — a Trichocereus x Echinopsis hybrid from renowned hybridizer Mark Dimmitt, crossing Echinopsis 'Diehls Hybrid' x Trichocereus 'Newlands Orange'. The result is a 5"+ bloom in a tight rosette form: light pink inner petals with a darker pink midstripe that widens with each consecutive row, finishing with back petals that are almost completely deep pink, all surrounding a warm yellow throat.

This large, well-rooted plant is 4–5 inches tall, blooms prolifically in multiple sets during warmer months, and pups easily — a generous, reliable performer that earns its place in any collection.
