Trichocereus Hybrid 'Pina Colada' — Extremely Rare 7–8" Multi-Color Blooming Cactus

Named after the sweet cocktail it resembles, 'Pina Colada' is a Trichocereus hybrid of extraordinary pedigree — a cross of Echinopsis 'Indio Magic' x Trichocereus 'Flying Saucer', hybridized by world-famous Echinopsis hybridizer Klaus-Peter Mügge of Germany. The result is a 7–8" diameter bloom that's as complex and layered as its namesake drink.
Inner petals are dark pink to purplish at the edges with wide apricot-yellow and salmon midstripes; outer petals are apricot-light salmon with a narrow pinkish-purple edge. The stamens shift from dark orange to almost red on day one, then soften to pink by day two — every bloom is a living color show.
This well-rooted plant is 4 inches tall and a fast grower and good pupper, with dark green columnar stems averaging 4–5" in diameter and golden-yellow spines.
