ECHINOPSIS HYBRID 'POOKA' Blooming Cactus Plant

Offer is for the well rooted Echinopsis hybrid 'POOKA' plant shown in the last picture. 3-4” tall.

Echinopsis hybrid 'POOKA' has a 5" bloom that is a mustard-yellow/bronze-yellow, with a pink mid stripe on inner petals. Outer petals are yellow with a light magenta mid stripe. It's throat is pale yellow and filaments are yellow. Growth to approx 4+ inches in diameter, seldom more than 8" tall on mature plants. This was hybridized by Bob Schick. Named by Bob Schick after Pooka which is known as a mischievous spirit in Irish folklore, similar to the Elizabethan Robin Goodfellow, or Puck. Notes: At first bloom about 2 season from a small pup or offset stem growth will reach 3"+ diameter but large and older sized specimens can max out at 5" to 6"+ diameter and 10-12" in height on average. A heavy pupper, producing many offsets each season in 3 to 4 seasons if given proper care can become a large clump in only a few growing seasons.
